Explore wild red rock canyons and primal trails in this unforgettable run.  This run links several canyons, dry washes, remote sections of the Paiute ATV Trail systems, and the brand new Pahvant Mountain Bike Trail System, into a very unique experience. Run up a slot-like red rock canyon, trek atop a packed natural clay fin under colorful hills, power up and speed down remote trails, and catch great vistas along ridgelines. There will be a 25km (approximately 16 miles) and a 50km ultra (approximate 32 miles).

The race is located in Richfield, Utah, just a 2 hour 35 minute drive South of the SLC International Airport.

Race date is Saturday, September 18th, 2021.

Elevation gains & time limits

 *  25km (16.6 miles).  3104 feet / 946 meters (time limit 7 hours).
 *  50km (31.2 miles)  5113 feet / 1558  meters (time limit 12 hours).

See the overview maps below, or the "Course" page for more details.

The new Pahvant MTB Trail System has completed the 65+ miles of incredible single track trails between 2019 and 2020.  Both race distances catch 5 amazing new single-track mountain bike sections that parallel previous years course routing the last four miles.

Note, we are still in discussion with the Forest Service on possible routing for a 50 miler for 2021.
