All distances race on the dry streambed of Dairy Canyon, a very unique narrow slot-like canyon.  This canyon has several boulders and one ladder.  The ultras hit this after their first 20+ mile loop, while the the half-marathon hits this at just 2 miles into the run.  The half-marathon will have small staggered starting waves to avoid congestion at the ladder.
